Do you have a game plan in relation to Chronicles of St Marys and the Time Police books?

BEEN GREATLY enjoying the Chronicles of Saint Mary’s and Just finished the first of the Time Police books. I am wondering considering how worried and careful max and crew are about not changing history or HISTORY will crush them like a bug how the early Time Police got away with being so heavy handed collateral damage doesn’t begin to describe them
